For more than three decades, Kim Barry has had the privilege of serving the students, families, and educators of the Placer Union High School District. As a proud Placer High School graduate, English teacher, department chair, assistant principal, principal, and district office administrator, she has dedicated her career to helping students succeed and strengthening the schools that have shaped generations of our community.
Kim is running for the Placer Union High School District Board of Trustees because she believes our schools deserve experienced, thoughtful leadership that puts students first, supports outstanding teachers and staff, and makes fiscally responsible decisions that strengthen public education. Having served at every level of the district, she understands both the opportunities and challenges facing today's schools and is committed to making decisions that reflect the best interests of students, families, educators, and the community.
As a lifelong member of the community, Kim believes the future of PUHSD is built through collaboration, integrity, and a shared commitment to excellence. Her vision is to preserve the traditions that have made our district exceptional while preparing every student for success in college, career, and life.
